Many public facilities have slipping and skidding problems. Local Authorities operate nearly every type of facility from libraries and schools to airports and transport facilities. There are some buildings that have special problems, such as leisure centres, where wet tiled areas in changing rooms and around swimming pools are widely recognised as areas with a high potential for slipping.

In addition, nearly all the pavements we walk on and shopping centres, high streets etc are the responsibility of a local authority. Our products are widely used by local authorities and the range of uses is enormous, so the following product selections are a general guide only:

Tiled areas
Use TRUSTY STEP – restaurants, canteens, kitchen areas, shopping malls, schools, libraries, old peoples homes, bus stations, leisure centres, reception areas. In some cases such as steps, use our self adhesive SAFESTEP TAPES
