Many public facilities have slipping and skidding problems.
Local Authorities operate nearly every type of facility from
libraries and schools to airports and transport facilities.
There are some buildings that have special problems, such as
leisure centres, where wet tiled areas in changing rooms and
around swimming pools are widely recognised as areas with a
high potential for slipping.
In addition, nearly all the pavements we walk on and
shopping centres, high streets etc are the responsibility of a
local authority. Our products are widely used by local
authorities and the range of uses is enormous, so the
following product selections are a general guide only:
Tiled areas Use TRUSTY STEP

Concrete areas (Pedestrian) Use
EPOXICOTE
– schools, car parks, shopping centres, Bus stations,
industrial units, warehouses. In some cases our self adhesive
SAFESTEP
TAPES are ideal. (Vehicular) Use EPOXO –
multi-storey car park ramps, fork truck ramps, pedestrian
crossing approaches, distribution depots, loading bays,
vehicle service areas.
Steel areas (Pedestrian) Use
Epoxo Metal Primer and EPOXICOTE.
Ramps, mezzanine areas, walkways, fire escapes, foot bridges.
In some cases our self adhesive SAFESTEP
TAPES are ideal. (Vehicular) Use Epoxo Metal Primer
and EPOXO.
Ramps, bridge decks, loading bays vehicle service
facilities.
Aluminium areas All as for steel
above except we recommend using our acid etch Primer, instead
of Epoxo Metal Primer. Timber area Use our range of self
adhesive SAFESTEP
TAPES, on larger areas use EPOXICOTE.
